Message first off write down the color codes and order for each of the old plugs.then cut the old wires off at the plug. swap the ground from the old 7 wire plug group to the old 6 wire plug group.

so now the plug that HAD 6 wires NOW has 7. and the one that had 7 NOW has 6. match and splice the wires from the old harness to the wires of the new one. DE-pinning and repinning wont work due to the pins/blades/whatever you want to call it, are a different size. so soilder it and heat shrink them is a must.

i will take color code notes this weekend and make a write up for this next week. but that's all the "patch harness" does. moves the ground from one side of the PTU to the other.
